Metro closed 2019 with an outstanding record. Since our first day in business, we set our promise on taking A.I. out of the lab, delivering solutions that actually work and providing amazing value for businesses and governments. Our goal for ​Cities was to make them ​Smart​; for ​Enterprises​, to provide tools for monetization; for Airports​, to give them oversight and governance over a very difficult to manage business. All through very straightforward solutions, all through A.I.

So far, we have fulfilled this promise. 2019 achievements:

• 6 new products launched for Smart Cities and Enterprises, 3 of which are in early access.
• First airport ever in the world with computer vision based parking system, enabled by Metro’s ground breaking technology.
• This year only, our computer vision systems have processed an outstanding 100 billion images of CCTV cameras, with official integration to multiple camera and hardware vendors.

Our business strategy is simple, our solutions have to generate soo much value to our customers, it would cost more not to acquire them. It's a go big or go home policy applied to how we develop our products and business, completely centered around our customers, that drives all our decision making.

Looking ahead, there is no limit to what A.I. can achieve in the future, there are no boundaries to the information one CCTV camera can extract. Right now, the biggest labs around the world are putting their best scientists & engineers in A.I. research projects that go from autonomous vehicles to disease diagnosis. But here lies the problem: labs are one thing, reality is another. Labs think with a dump and start philosophy, “you want a car that drives by itself? throw your old one, buy a new one” and while we love new cars, enterprises and governments can't afford to think with that logic. We see the essential value in integration to fulfill our promise.
